What I appreciate most about AFP Nova Scotia’s statement is that they detail the specific actions they want to take on this work of anti-racism. They outline the need for work to be done internally but do not let that prevent them from publicly standing in solidarity with Black fundraisers.

You don’t have to be perfectly anti-racist to take a stand. You don’t have to be perfect. You have to be ready to listen. Ready to learn. And ready to take accountability.
