Take time to read the cease and desist sent by Caroline Riseboro the CEO of Trillium Health Partners Foundation<\/a> by her lawyer Craig Colraine<\/a> to the Association of Fundraising Professionals (AFP) Greater Toronto Chapter<\/a>Association of Fundraising Professionals (AFP Global)<\/a> and AFP Foundation for Philanthropy- Canada<\/a> which caused them to remove their apology.<\/p>\n\n\n\n 1. She and her lawyer use every single racist trope about Black women possible against Nneka Allen, CFRE, COC, PCC<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n 2. She and her lawyer misgender and misspell Mide Akerewusi, B.Sc., M.Sc. (Econ), CSR-P, CDEP.<\/a> (lazy white behaviour when having to deal with a non-European name)<\/p>\n\n\n\n 3. She accuses me of basically being an attack dog and goes on to lie that I have been sued in the past by other “high-profile” fundraisers which is not the truth and therefore libelous.<\/p>\n\n\n\n This letter went to our peers. This is defamation and discrimination. This is a continued act of violence against Black people. This is RACISM.<\/p>\n\n\n\n There will be consequences for this and those associated with supporting her campaign #fundraising<\/a>#philanthropy<\/a> of hate and fear.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
