The board members of the Association of Fundraising Professionals (AFP) Greater Toronto Chapter<\/a> would rather resign than fully apologize to those who have been targeted by anti-Black racism. From the outside looking in, it appears that the board members are scrambling to hide and feeling like they “just want this to go away”. Fact is that several were there when these racist actions took place.

Caroline Riseboro the CEO of Trillium Health Partners Foundation<\/a> issued a cease and desist not “allowing” the mentioning that any anti-Black racism occurred during her tenure as chair.

Via <\/a>Elizabeth LeClair<\/a>: “the threats of legal action against Black fundraising leaders and those who seek to support them” is appalling. Those named in the cease and desist have not received a copy of the letter despite being named in it.
